Redruth girl given youth achievement award

A 13-year-old girl from Redruth has been given a special youth achievement award for her work in one of the town’s community groups.
Ricia Griffiths has been a member of Redyouth since it began one year and has been given the Lions Youth Achievement Award for mentoring and teaching other children from the club.
Lion President Jimmy Winn said that the Camborne Redruth and District Lions Club were always trying to encourage youth involvement in the area and had great pleasure in presenting Ricia with the Lions Achievement Certificate and a token voucher for £50.
