Mixed results for west Cornwall schools in league tables

There have been mixed results for west Cornwall schools in the latest secondary school league tables published by the government.
Falmouth school is the sixth best performing institution in the Duchy, with 66 per cent of students gaining five GCSE grades A to C including Maths and English.
Helston Community School was also near the top of the table, with 63 per cent of students achieving the benchmark figure.
However, Penryn College came 23rd out of 36 schools, with 53 per cent gaining the three A to C grades.
